Unity is the understanding that we are not separate from universal creative forces. Universal energy is in all of us and in everything around us, from the cosmos to all living things. There is tremendous beauty and complexity in the simplest things. As an artist, I aim to reflect this and use elements, forms and color to create visual experiences related to this understanding of reality and the awe of nature. My creations reflect influences of art and philosophy of the East and West. I merge different approaches, styles and cultural influences in each piece of my new Unity series. - Chunhong Chang
